Fortunately, a group of principled, dissident Libertarians are working to restore the Party and reclaim it from those who aspire to dominate without regard for broad consensus.

Repeated, egregious violations have endangered the party’s future and disrespected the work of those who built the party. These include: confusing the public about our message of Liberty, misuse of our social media accounts, lack of transparency in LPGa operations, inappropriate use of procedures to rush decisions, lack of support for our LP Presidential candidate, and sacrificing our credibility with the infamous decision to join the Kennedy Victory Fund.

Until recently, we respected each other’s opinions and worked toward consensus and compromise with our Libertarian principles at the center. This is what we intend to restore.

This situation is not going to fix itself.

The State Convention is the only opportunity to come together as a body and make our voices heard. Your attendance this year is important because we have an opportunity to elect new leadership.

This is an invitation to all libertarians to join us in returning the Party to its established purpose. With your help, we will continue offering an alternative to the major parties that supports the principled goal of individual freedom.
